MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT MBCN
Mata Bhagwanti Chadha Niketan is an epitome of the discharge of corporate social responsibility by the Chadha Group of Companies. It’s a charitable school for the rehabilitation and mainstreaming of very special needs children suffering from congenital, intellectual and physical infirmities or incompatibilities, emanating from cerebral palsy, seizures,
mental retardation, visual and hearing impairments, brain development disorders, autism, or other multiple disabilities leading to inability to physically and psychologically interact with the society.
While the Niketan has at present a total strength of 325 incumbents, the ambition is to expand the capacity to 500 in very near future .A professionally trained and educated team of teachers teach and develop academic skills, communication skills, self care, and prevocational skills based on pre-researched and tested methodologies. A fully equipped physiotherapy and occupational therapy department is medically attuned to suit the special needs of the incumbents provides special support and rehabilitative recreation.
The goal is to foster independence for the mentally and physically challenged and socially deprived and bring their lives as much at par with that of normal humans as practicable. Treatment of each child is calibrated according to an initial assessment of the related impairment and each child is subjected to an individualized therapy and vocational training. Parents of each incumbent are closely associated in developing and undertaking the therapeutic and
vocational treatment so that they can follow up the same at home and after their wards leave the school.
At MBCN we conduct regular interactions with experts, parents, teachers and technical innovators being aware that new and innovative developments are taking place in management of the impaired and challenged. We are open to any suggestions and guidance from any capable and informed quarters of the world.
