Dr. Vandana Sharma

Dr. Vandana Sharma is a passionate special educator from ‘National Institute for Mentally Handicapped’ (Ministry of social justice, Govt. of India). She topped in the batch of 1994. She graduated from University of Delhi in 1993 and did her post-graduation in Applied Psychology and also been awarded doctorate degree in Psychology. The significance of her study extends to the parents in helping them to adopt effective strategies for coping and dealing efficiently with their psychological problems. She enhanced and upgraded her professional knowledge with Certificate course in Professional Practice – ‘Aspects of Learning Difficulties for Children and Young People with Disabilities’ from ‘Amar Jyoti – Delhi’ in collaboration with ‘Roehampton University, London’ in 2008. Vandana carries 30 years of rich experience in the field of disability. She has been working for Rehabilitation, Research, Advocacy, Awareness, Resource Mobilization, Counselling, Special education, Skill Development and employment of Persons with disability. She joined MBCN charitable school for children with special needs in 1999 as Founder Principal.
Vandana has been a member of ‘State Program Committee of Special Olympic, Delhi’ and also been working as a consultant to ‘Genesis Global School, Noida’ for including children with special needs into mainstream. She is also an External Expert for the Departmental Research Committee (DRC) of Rehabilitation Sciences Domain, Amity University, U.P. and member of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Army Institute of Education.
Dr. Vandana Sharma continues to be an influential force in the field of Special education, Rehabilitation and Inclusion. She is a dynamic and a visionary who set goals of highest standards and strives to achieve them with utmost dedication and sincerity.
Ms. Shubha Goswami
Principal
Mrs. Shubha Goswami brings 25 years of extensive experience working with both children with special needs and mainstream students. She holds a Post Graduate degree in Sociology, a B.Ed. in Geography and English, and a D.Ed. in Autism. Additionally, she has earned multiple certifications in counseling and education and has been recognized with awards for her contributions to special education. Her previous assignments at MBCN have been as Vice Principal since 2019.
Mrs. Manju Chamoli
HoD Vocational Wing
28 years of professional experience in handling children with Special needs. she herself is mother of a young adult with Intellectual challenges. Educational Qualification: Done B.A. B Ed from M.P Bhoj University and D.S.C. MR from YMCA, Delhi. Certification in Low vision from Autism action for Autism Awarded as best teacher award from Rotary club International 2012
Mrs. Vibha Srivastava
HoD Deaf Wing
Educational Qualification: 20 years of experience in dealing with children with Special Needs. Done Graduation from Delhi University. Post Graduation in Political Science from Maharishi Dayanand University, A diploma holder in Education of Hearing Impaired (D. Ed. (H)) from Ali Yavar Jung National Institute for the Hearing Handicapped. And also completed her B.Ed in Hearing Impaired (HI) from Bhoj University.

Dr Richa Vats

Public Health Professional, with over 10 years of experience in public health field, having worked with National Health Mission Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand , and various National and International NGO’s on Primary Healthcare, New born, Child care and Adolescent Health. Educational Qualification- Bachelors of Physiotherapy (BPT) -JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, MBA- (Public Health) from IIHMR-University.

Dr Shruti Mittal
HoD , Occupational and Physiotherapy Department
She holds an extensive experience of 13 years in the field of Physiotherapy & Neuro – Rehabilitation. Having taught in Doon Medical College as Asst prof for few years, She then got associated with Paediatric centre, Military Hospital, Meerut. She has also been the External examiner and mentor in various Universities. Worked with many renowned Rehabilitation centres all over India. Educational Qualifications: BPT from CIMS, Bhopal, MPT ( Neurology) from IAMR, Ghaziabad, PGDHA from Medvarsity Apollo and Fellowship Diploma in Sports Rehabilitation from LASHS, UK.
