Special Education:
The purpose of this program is to foster independence for daily living skills are taught in both classroom and community-based settings in order to teach skill application and generalization to real life settings.
The focus of this program is to teach academic skills communication skills, social skills, motor skills ,applied and functional academics, self-care and prevocational skills through research-based methodologies to meet individual student needs.
Before deciding on the skill training programme that a child had to go through, the children are assessed on the basis of various standardized tools. On the basis of the assessment of current level of performance of the individual child a monthly individualised educational programme are prepared.
After assessment based goal oriented programme planning parents are called to discuss the same with professionals and the same program is followed by parents at home also.
